To say that the last 6 weeks have been eventful would be a complete understatement. Life has changed drastically in the best way possible, and there truly aren’t words that can describe how full my heart feels. Sleep has been replaced with cuddles, make up and brushing my hair have temporarily been put on hold, and my blog has taken a content hit. And I wouldn’t change a thing. After six weeks I’m finally feeling ready to inch my way back to posting, and promise that, at most, this blog will only ever be a part time baby blog. These images were the last photos taken before my sweet sweet daughter graced us with her presence, and it still blows my mind that I created a human, from scratch. It’s a tremendous gift that is not taken for granted, and everyday I feel so lucky that I get to be her mom. I promise I’ll get to all the details of this little lady, but first, sleep.
On Repeat

When I realized I’d be most pregnant during the holiday season I rejoiced in the amazing ensembles I would be able to don, cute little baby bump in tow. Of course at this point I believed I would look and feel just like the pregnant women from TV, you all remember Jennifer Aniston when Rachel was pregnant on Friends, right? I couldn’t have miscalculated the situation more than I did, and the struggle to find anything that can be dressed up, while hugging and hiding in all the right places has been my own personal Da Vinci Code. I’m embracing the last few weeks of this incredible journey, but I’m not going lie, I can’t wait to reconnect with all of the clothing currently on sabbatical in my closet.

Black Friday Guide 2015
Our neighbours down south do it right, with enormous Black Friday sales happening after Thanksgiving. The best part in partaking in the sales is that you can get all your Christmas shopping done and still have enough left over for a little something (or many somethings) for yourself. The sales can be overwhelming so I’ve broken it down into my fav retailers and their incredible discounts taking place. Remember they’re often for one day only, so don’t regret not checking them out.

It’s safe to say that certain items of clothing have been earning their keep more than others in the closet as of late. I’ve always stood by the concept of investing in outerwear, and more than ever I’m appreciating the vast options my collection has to offer. I’ve worn this ASOS coat to and fro in the previous two winters, and it’s as relevant this winter as it has been in the past. The best part is that it still fits, even at 34 weeks pregnant. If that’s not winning, I truly don’t know what is.
