On My Radar For Spring

Cropped Button Down / Satin Shorts / Thong Sandals / Drawstring Waist Pants / Basic Tee / Jelly Sandals / Wind Breaker
It is so refreshing when March rolls around and the weather gives glimpses of warmer days ahead. I love that it stays light out past 5pm at night, that baseball and soccer season are right around the corner, and that spring fashions have hit the stores. Of course, as I’m writing this out, it’s currently snowing. All the more reason to take a look at what I’ve got my eye on as the warmer weather hits.
I’m so intentional about what I bring into my wardrobe, and these are the pieces that would work well together, and with the items currently residing in my closet. I’m loving oversized, cropped button downs, in both cotton poplin, as linked above, as well as denim. Satin shorts with lace detailing are all over again this spring and I love the idea of being able to dress them up or down. Kitten heeled thong sandals not only make sense, they’re incredibly flattering and go with literally everything. I love grabbing a fresh white tee when the weather changes, and this is one of my favourite brands to grab. Jelly sandals were everywhere last spring/summer and their comfort, versatility and price point make them an instant yes. Grab them in a fun pop of colour to elevate your everyday ensemble. While this pair of drawstring pants is in a crepe, for more wear in the spring and fall months, they also come in a gorgeous linen that would be perfect for those warmer days. I love the idea of pairing a wind breaker with a more structured piece like tailored trousers, providing the perfect juxtaposition and visual interest that will have friends and co-workers taking notice.
