Abercrombie Tank, AGOLDE Shorts, Zara Blazer, Steve Madden Sandals, Louis Vuitton Handbag

The countdown for school has officially started, and this week is filled with errands, haircuts, organizing and first-day outfit planning. I can’t believe it’s days away, and I have to say, I don’t feel quite ready yet. Both kids will be in school full days, leaving me, for the first time in almost a decade, with more than a couple of hours of kid-free time a day. It’s the end of an era in regards to me staying at home with the kids, and I’m feeling all of the feels. All of them.

I have been absolutely living in a combination of this ensemble both this summer and last. More casually I swap out the slides for EVA Birkenstocks, and discard the blazer. For something a touch more elevated I swap for a heeled sandal, a bright lip and added layers of jewellery. I love that it can be considered a transitional outfit that can still be worn into September. Once the mornings start to cool down, it’s an easy exchange from shorts to jeans or trousers. And let’s be honest, it’s the perfect morning Mom drop-off outfit due to it’s easy outfit formula, one that guarantees an incredibly put together look.
