Book club took a bit of a back seat this summer as the months seemed to flash by. I thought I would ease our little readers back in to the swing of things by creating a perfectly autumn menu, and not shaming those who hadn’t finished the summer reading list (which was
none most of us). A crisp fall day called for homemade Cream of Tomato Soup, mini Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and Spiced Pumpkin Layer Cake. While there may not have been an abundance of book discussion, catching up with fabulous friends over a slice of cake is best.
