When dressing in the morning seems more like preparing for Olympic trials, I find the easiest way to get from bed to the front door is by keeping my ensemble monochromatic. Usually I don myself in all black when I’m performing this little trick, but the other day I was inspired to try tans and taupes, just to mix it up. I can’t tell you how much easier it is to get ready in the morning when there’s a game plan, and the monochromatic one works every time.
