I have memories as a child of my parents heading off to their own adult Halloween party, dressed up in fabulous costumes that my mother had made for them.  I always wished that I could go with them and once I moved back to Calgary I decided I would resurrect the tradition for myself.  The second annual Fright Nite was a complete success, with costumes getting more elaborate and detailed and party participants getting into character, down to the theme music.  The centerpiece that served as both decoration and dessert was a fabulous creation by Rose Sen of Sen Cakes.  There were all sorts of treats with very little tricks, and I was thrilled with the effort everyone put in.  There was even a visit from the women’s USA Olympic gymnastics team, and let me say those gals are lookin’ good.  The Fright Nite trophy has another name to be engraved on it, and I think it’s safe to say that everyone is already plotting their costume for next year.

Don, I cannot take credit, I only wish I was that talented! It was Rose Sen from Sen Cakes that baked up that beauty, she also did Toni’s 30th birthday cake, check it out here.
